Next Generation Teachers Co-Working for Refugee and Immigrant Communities in Turkey and Ireland
Our Fulbright alumni faculty members Dr. Elif Karsli and Dr. Aysel Saricaoglu received a grant through Alumni Ties from the U.S. Department of State for their project "Next Generation Teachers Co-Working for Refugee and Immigrant Communities in Turkey and Ireland.” Through cross-cultural collaboration with Brian Ruane from St. Patrick's College of Dublin City University, this one-semester project will provide an innovative environment for pre-service teachers in Turkey and Ireland to engage in community service in schools with refugee and immigrant students through synchronous online seminars and cross-country visits.
