On May 17^th, the oath-taking ceremony was held for our 2019 candidate graduates from Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program. Our rector Prof. Dr. Belgin Ayvaşık, vice rector Prof. Dr. Kemal Levend Parnas, our dean Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak and our faculty members who have given courses them during their university life and their families and friends were there for our students. First of all, Nazım Aydın Şahin and Merve Yağar, who are the two of our students, gave their speech and then, respectively, our head of department Prof. Dr. Nilüfer H.

Within the scope of "EDUC 120 Educational Psychology", which is given by our faculty member Dr. Elif Öztürk, students designed some board games for different age groups by taking cognitive and social development theories into consideration. Our faculty members and students examined those games closely and tested them by playing.

Human Resources Manager of METU Development Foundation Schools, Simla Cumhur was in our faculty on the 11^th May in order to give students information about interviews. Simla Cumhur, who we hosted thanks to our part-time faculty member Psychological Counselor Gökmen Öcal, shared many valuable experiences and knowledge about work life and recruitment processes before our students graduated. We thank her for her valuable contributions.

Nearly 120 middle school students from 3 secondary schools attended the Mathematics Learning Centers Activity, which took place on Tuesday, May 14th. The students first toured TED University and willingly participated in the activities prepared by our mathematics teacher candidates. In the activities, it was aimed to teach or enhance the learning of various subjects such as transformational geometry, measuring length, area of a parallelogram from mathematics secondary school curriculum.
