On October 15, 2021, TED University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department faculty members and research assistants attended the beginning of the semester orientation meeting organized by Michigan State University, Psychological Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education Department. Dr. Lee and his team provided information about the curriculum and possible academic collaborations.

Between September 2019-December 2020, TEDU Faculty of Education Faculty Members gave seminars, training, and workshops on the following topics for faculty members and students of different universities, personnel within the Ministry, psychological counselors working in Guidance and Research Centers, television channel, Turkish Psychological Counseling and Guidance Association Psychological Counselors and students in the field. There was a high level of participation in these online and face-to-face events.

Before the EDUC 411  internships start, our GPC students, faculty members, and internship counselors came together on Zoom, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, to meet, share the application guide to be followed during the internship, and go over the internship calendar.

"Online Film Club" and "Online Book Club" were established for the English Language Education Program students. Clubs will be run by the students of the English Language Education Program and will be organized as extracurricular activities with the participation of the program students. Students who request to register for clubs can fill out the forms below.

Collaboration between TED University and Nesibe Aydın Educational Institutions

The article “Undistracted Reading, Not More or Less: The Relationship Between High School Students’ Risk of Smartphone Addiction and Their Reading Habits” by TEDU GPC’s Research Assistant Yusuf Barburoğlu and faculty members of Trakya University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Mertkan Gezgin and Research Assistant Fatmagül Gürbüz has been published in “Technology, Knowledge and Learning”, an ESCI and ERIC indexed journal on October 8^th, 2021.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, a welcome meeting was held for our newly arrived students at TED University English Language Education Department. Our students, who have passed a long marathon and qualified to become English teachers, were informed about the kind of education they will receive during their education, what kind of projects they can participate in, and other academic and social opportunities offered to them. Students who were entitled to receive education in the department expressed their satisfaction for finding such a warm welcoming environment.
