Assoc. Prof. Münevver İlgün Dibek from TED University’s Department of Educational Sciences has received two paper acceptances for the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2025 Annual Meeting, to be held in April in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Her papers, titled “Latent Class Analysis of Students' Empathy and Decision-Making Skills” and “Empathy Unveiled: The Impact of Item and Student Characteristics on Empathy Skills in Turkish Adolescents,” explore how students' empathy and decision-making skills can be categorized based on demographic factors, and how item and student characteristics influence empathy assessment, respectively.

These studies contribute to the understanding and evaluation of social-emotional competencies in adolescents, offering valuable insights into both measurement and educational practices.
