The co-authored article titled “Modeling Teachers’ Acceptance of VR Editors to Bridge the Gap Between VR Users and Creators in Classrooms,” produced as part of the TÜBİTAK 1001 project “Design, Development, and Evaluation of an Editor for Teachers to Create Virtual Reality Environments,” led by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Kursat Cagiltay, has been published in the journal Discover Education.
The study with 339 teachers reveals the factors influencing teachers’ acceptance of Virtual Reality Editors (VREs) and provides important recommendations for the design of educational VR tools. The study positions teachers not merely as consumers of ready-made VR content, but as creators who design their own VR learning experiences.
