A book chapter titled “Transforming STEM Education with AI: Potential and Pitfalls,” co-authored by our Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Kursat Cagiltay, has been published in the book AI for STEAM in Education: Thematic Learning in Practice, published by Springer.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is reshaping STEM education through personalized learning, data-informed instruction, and new possibilities for creativity and interdisciplinary integration. The chapter “Transforming STEM Education with AI: Potential and Pitfalls” discusses both the transformative potential of AI and the pedagogical, ethical, and systemic challenges associated with its integration into education.
