The student research project “Voices Unheard: Long-Term Effects of War on Young Adults Who Migrated to Türkiye as Children,” conducted under the academic supervision of Assoc. Prof. Özlem Erden Başaran, has been awarded funding through the TEDU Undergraduate Research Fund (TEDU-URF). The project team includes Amenah Al Agidy, Zehra Işık Yaradılmış, Sultan Özkanat, and Christ-Marty Museruko.

The interdisciplinary project explores how individuals who experienced war and forced migration during childhood remember and reinterpret these experiences in young adulthood, with particular attention to identity, belonging, education, and life trajectories.
