Our first meeting titled "Step by Step to the Career Meetings" - "The Career Journey of a Mathematics Educator" was held.

As TED University Elementary Mathematics Education students, we aim to get to know our alternative fields of study and seek answers to our questions by meeting with experienced people before graduating. In this direction, we organize "Step by Step to Career Meetings" in order to facilitate our career journey.
We held our first meeting titled " The Career Journey of a Mathematics Educator " with Selim Yavuz, who works at Indiana University, Bloomington, on Wednesday, June 2, between 19.00 and 20.15. The course of this meeting, which was held with the participation of 52 people that included participants from other universities, was shaped by the questions from our participants. In this meeting, Mr. Selim Yavuz shared his knowledge and experiences on many subjects such as graduate, teaching, assistant principal, finding scholarships in the USA, interview, teaching experience, and writing a question bank.
We think that the experience sharing in the Step by Step to the Career Meetings will give us new perspectives, and we invite you all to the other Step by Step to the Career Meetings to be held in the future.
