2018 Nafi Atuf Kansu Pedagogical Research Awards Ceremony Held At TED University

 

2018 NAFİ ATUF KANSU PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH AWARDS CEREMONY HELD AT TED UNIVERSITY

2018 Nafi Atuf Kansu Pedagogical Research Awards were presented at a ceremony at TED University this year.  

Dr. Sibel Akın, lecturer at TED University, Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Education – Primary Education, Dr. Öner Çalışkan and Prof. Dr. Cennet Engin Demir from METU have won the award in the category of “Articles” with a co-written article titled Civic Engagement Among University Students: Case of a Turkish Public University; Instructor Dr. Resul Babaoğlu (Siirt University) has won the award in the category of “Theses” with his thesis titled Mekteb-i Mülkiye: from Ottoman to the Republic (1859-1960); and Mehmet Baydur has won the award in category of “Books” with his book titled İsmail Mahir Efendi-The Thought Father of Village Institutes.

The ceremony took place with the participation of Prof. Dr. Belgin Ayvaşık, Rector; Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak, Dean of the Faculty of Education; Orhan Yıldırım, Chairman of Eğitim-İş Syndicate; Nazım Mutlu, Chairman of National Education Association; and a great number of academicians and students.
