The overall goal of the proposed project is to support the teaching of mathematics for elementary school teachers (K-4) working with immigrant and refugee students with an emphasis on school-family-community partnership and eventually to develop a pedagogical model for mathematics education with its curriculum materials. This model will be developed in collaboration with 60 teachers from five different cities highly populated by immigrants and refugees (Gaziantep, Hatay, Şanlıurfa, Ankara and İstanbul).
