The TED University Program of Early Childhood Education and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's Nursery and Daycare Centers met on January 13, 2022, as part of a protocol signed. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adile Gülşah Saranlı held the workshop titled "The Age of Differentiated and Enriched Education" at the 10th Intelligence and Talent Congress held on November 16-17.

Our Science Fair "The Adventures of Little Explorers-2" Took Place!

Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Elif Buldu and Research Assistant Tuba Özgül Torun, 30 creative science experiments designed by our future teacher candidates as part of the PECE202 Early Childhood Science Education course were carried out with the enthusiastic participation of 30 young explorers aged 5-6 from a public kindergarten in Ankara. 👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬

Mehmet Bilgin, a teacher who was selected as the winner of the Global Teacher Award by the Global Teacher Award organization, which had over 19,000 teachers from 97 countries, delivered a seminar to students in the Department of Early Childhood Education. He shared his innovative methods in early childhood education.

Teacher Mehmet Bilgin is a preschool teacher at Ankara Etimesgut Şeyh Şamil Kindergarten and has completed his 15th year in his profession. He works on children and Creativity, Children's Literature, and Classroom Activities That Make a Difference.

Last month, he represented our country as one of the teachers awarded the Global Teacher Award at the Global Teacher Award organization, where more than 19,000 teachers from 97 countries participated.

Within the scope of the PECE301 Instructional Principles and Methods in Early Childhood Education course conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Buldu, Alona Yıldırım, and Dilek Duman, who work at Bilkent International Laboratory (BLIS), were invited as guest speakers. Our guests explained to our 3rd-grade students how to provoke learning in the process of playful learning by presenting their practices.

The TUBITAK 2209 Project of our students from the Elementary Mathematics Education program has been deemed worthy of support by TÜBİTAK 2209-A

Assist. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Alkaş Ulusoy was among the authors of the Primary School 2nd Grade Mathematics Textbook, which was included in the list of Textbooks for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The book was distributed to primary schools in Turkey by the Ministry of National Education and made available to students and teachers.

Dr. Faculty Member Çağla Öneren Şendil, "Is My Child Ready for Primary School?" on June 1, 2022, upon the invitation of TED Isparta College Kindergarten. He gave a seminar on the subject. Kindergarten parents, teachers and administrators attended this seminar, which was held online.
