“Workshop on Development and Use of Instructional Materials" for TED Schools 1st Group Mathematics Teachers was held by Dr. Zerrin TOKER, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, on 29-30 September 2018. 1. Group of 38 TED Schools across Turkey, consisted of mathematics teachers from TED Ankara, TED Batman, Corum TED TED Diyarbakır, TED Elazıg, TED Eskişehir, TED Kayseri, TED Konya, TED Konya Ereğli, TED Malatya, TED Polatlı TED Renaissance, TED Sivas and TED Van Colleges. Totally, 32 teachers were participated.
Faculty Members of TEDU Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program will meet with their 265 advisees.

A research exploring students' image of mathematics and mathematicians, implemented by Dr. Vesife HATISARU, one of the instructors at TED University Faculty of Education Department of Mathematics and Science Education, with about 1600 upper-secondary school students in Ankara-Cankaya appeared on HaberTurk, a popular national newspaper.
Dr. Vesife HATISARU at the Faculty of Education Department of Mathematics and Science Education and Dr. Engin ÖZKAN at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Mathematics gave a TEDU 400 seminar on why we learn mathematics.
Dr. Vesife Hatısaru, one of the academics in Faculty of Education Department of Mathematics and Science Education and Fulya Tuğrul, one of the pre-service teachers in Faculty of Education hosted by the TRT Radio 1 Programme called Yaşamı Fark Et on 27 February 2018.
Within the scope of TED Full Support Scholarship, Prof. Dr. Tevhide Kargın gave a lecture to TED University students who voluntarily give classes to scholarship students. The seminar was about what they could do for the integration of the students with special needs in their classes. The seminar, which took place on Friday, February 23, 2018 addressed the following points:
• Communicating with the student and her family for student recognition.
• Creating an information form and gathering necessary information.
• Learning their acquaintanceship with English.
