Dr.Tülin Haşlaman participated “TAIEX Workshop on Evidence Based Education Policy Development Techniques” organised by European Commision in co-operation with the Ministry of National Education (Turkey) between 30 - 31 October 2018. The aim of the Workshop was to discuss the collection and the use of educational statistics as basis to design educational policies for the Turkish Ministry of National Education.

TED University hosted a meeting organized by Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education in order to discuss the problems and solution strategies related to teaching practice courses carried out within the framework of Faculty of Education-School of Application Cooperation. 2018 NAFİ ATUF KANSU PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH AWARDS CEREMONY HELD AT TED UNIVERSITY

2018 Nafi Atuf Kansu Pedagogical Research Awards were presented at a ceremony at TED University this year.  

How the map data is collected, analyzed and how it is drawn using the latest technological developments is important for the development of the teachers. Fatma Erva Tayanç, our student from Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program and Minor Program  of Early Childhood Education, participated in the International 4th Congress of Child Development with a poster presentation titled “Investigation of the Children' Playground in Terms of Design Criteria: The Case of Ankara Kurtuluş Park”.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sühendan Er presented 'Effects of Interactive Story Reading on Development of 0-36 Month Old Children' at 4th International Child Development Congress, organized by Hacettepe University on 22-24th October 2018.  

EGE 321 Art Education class welcomed artist and art trainer Fatih Kızılcan as a guest speaker during their lesson. Fatih Kızılcan exposed his experiences about art and art education with young children. Students had the opportunity to see the insight and perspective of him. We appreciate Fatih Kızılcan for his time and sharing with us.

Assistant Prof. Dr. Çağla Öneren Şendil participated in the 9th International Conference on Education and Educational Psychology-2018 (ICEEPSY-2018) held in the Athens, Greece on 2-5 October 2018 with an oral presentation titled “The perspectives of teachers and mothers on peer relation of preschoolers.

“Workshop on Development and Use of Instructional Materials" for TED Schools 1st Group Mathematics Teachers was held by Dr. Zerrin TOKER, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, on 29-30 September 2018. 1. Group of 38 TED Schools across Turkey, consisted of mathematics teachers from TED Ankara, TED Batman, Corum TED TED Diyarbakır, TED Elazıg, TED Eskişehir, TED Kayseri, TED Konya, TED Konya Ereğli, TED Malatya, TED Polatlı TED Renaissance, TED Sivas and TED Van Colleges. Totally, 32 teachers were participated.
