Turkish Grand National Assembly of the 100th Anniversary of Opening: Children from Past to Present

On April 23, 1920, under the leadership of our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey Grand National Assembly was opened and we celebrate the opening of our assembly every year as National Sovereignty and Children's Day. This year, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the opening of our assembly together despite the challenging conditions.

Dr. Onur Özmen has conducted online seminars regarding Mersin National Education Directorate organization for teachers at 14th April 2020, and TED Malatya College's organization for teachers, students and parents at 17th April 2020 on the topic of «Psychological Effects of Pandemic Crisis».

Assoc. Dr. Erdem Aksoy gave a speech titled “Cooperative Learning Strategies” in a seminar organized by the Bilkent Teaching and Learning Support Center (BTLSC) on April 16, 2020. 

On April 15, 2020, Işıl Boy Ergül participated as a guest lecturer in ELE 302 Technology Oriented Language Learning course, conducted by Prof. Dr. Belgin Aydın and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Bilki. Ergül, a graduate of the English Language Teaching Department and specialized in the field of Educational Technologies and conducted with the Zoom platform, has contributed to our students’ vision by sharing her personal experiences, problems in distance education and entrepreneurship journey.

Within the scope of the measures taken against the COVID-19 epidemic, which has influenced the whole world, our faculty continues to meet with students in virtual classrooms.
