Dr. Merih Uğurel Kamışlı from the Faculty of Education, Educational Sciences Program at TED University co-edited a new book published by Routledge, titled ‘English Literacy Educators Working with Refugee Families’ with Dr. Clarena Larrotta from Texas State University, College of Education, Program of Adult, Professional, and Community Education.

This collaborative effort brings together insights and expertise from various contributors, exploring important themes in our field. English Literacy Educators Working with Refugee Families highlights best practices for English literacy instruction when working with refugees in the United States. Given the global refugee crisis around the world, teaching language to refugees is of increasing importance. The volume addresses this pressing issue and provides valuable insights and tools for educators working with refugees and immigrants in various programs.

 

Dr. Merih Uğurel-Kamışlı is the co-author of the following chapters in the book:
