"Online Film Club" and "Online Book Club" were established for the English Language Education Program students. Clubs will be run by the students of the English Language Education Program and will be organized as extracurricular activities with the participation of the program students. Students who request to register for clubs can fill out the forms below.

Collaboration between TED University and Nesibe Aydın Educational Institutions

The article “Undistracted Reading, Not More or Less: The Relationship Between High School Students’ Risk of Smartphone Addiction and Their Reading Habits” by TEDU GPC’s Research Assistant Yusuf Barburoğlu and faculty members of Trakya University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Mertkan Gezgin and Research Assistant Fatmagül Gürbüz has been published in “Technology, Knowledge and Learning”, an ESCI and ERIC indexed journal on October 8^th, 2021.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, a welcome meeting was held for our newly arrived students at TED University English Language Education Department. Our students, who have passed a long marathon and qualified to become English teachers, were informed about the kind of education they will receive during their education, what kind of projects they can participate in, and other academic and social opportunities offered to them. Students who were entitled to receive education in the department expressed their satisfaction for finding such a warm welcoming environment.

A contact meeting was held with the senior students of TED University English Language Education department about the teaching practice process in which they took their first step into teaching on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The functioning of the internship, which has an important place in the education life of our students, at both the faculty and department level, and our expectations from our teacher candidates were discussed. We wish our teacher candidates success in this process as they step into the profession.

TEDU GPC hosted the 30 September National Counselors Day!

Within the scope of our Psychological Counselors Day program, the wreath-laying ceremony at the Ulus Atatürk Statue and the Anıtkabir visit ended with a panel on "Psychological Counseling and Guidance with Past, Present and Tomorrow" hosted by TED University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Program.

TED University Faculty of Education Department of Mathematics and Science Education held the evaluation and sharing meeting of the lesson study model on Problem Solving in Mathematics which they collaborated with TED Bodrum College on August 27 at TED Bodrum College. In the first session of the meeting held in two sessions, the process was evaluated with the teachers participating in the project, the strengths and weaknesses of the model and suggestions about the model were shared with the SWOT activity. At the same time, ideas about future projects and activities were shared.

The administrators, academic staff and administrative staff of our faculty came together at the meeting with our students who were placed in our faculty as a result of YKS-2021. At the opening of the meeting, Dean Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak welcomed our new students by expressing his happiness at returning to campus and meeting our students. Then, our department heads were introduced to our students. After the meeting, our students in each program held their first meeting with their instructors in the Çim Amphitheater.
