The paper titled “Transforming In-service Teachers' Perspectives for Intercultural Communication in Schools” by Dr. Merih Uğurel Kamışlı and Assoc. Prof. Özlem Erden Başaran from TED University’s Department of Educational Sciences has been accepted for presentation at AERA 2025, to be held in April in Denver, Colorado, USA. The study focuses on teacher training to foster peaceful interaction with refugee and migrant students, showing that participants gradually adopt more inclusive and empathetic perspectives.

In parallel with the changes in the education system and trends in our country and around the world, a meeting and exchange of information were held on February 27, 2025, with the participation of all faculty members of the Faculty of Education. During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay, provided insights into the impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on education systems and the possible consequences of this impact. Following this, a discussion was conducted with faculty members on various educational models.
