TED University Faculty of Education honored its 2024–2025 graduates with a Pinning and Oath Ceremony held on Friday, July 4, 2025. The ceremony took place in the Multi-Purpose Hall and brought together graduates and faculty members. The program began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, followed by opening speeches from TED University Rector Prof. Dr. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu and our Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay. Then, Heads of Departments shared their messages and good wishes for the graduates.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Olcay Yılmaz, faculty member of the Department of GPC, made a presentation titled "Basic Parameters in the Higher Education Transition Process" at the Career and Preference Summit for Educators.
TEDU team successfully hosted a dissemination event on June 19, 2025, at TED University as part of the 11th English Language Teacher Education Research (ELTER) Colloquium. The event brought together 120 ELT researchers from various institutions across Türkiye.
The Global Teaching and Learning Certificate Program, jointly conducted by the Faculty of Education and the Continuing Education Center at TED University, continues to introduce participants to international educational approaches and to support their professional development in this field.

The paper titled “The Authenticity Dilemma: How Can Teacher Education Policies Address Globalized Digital Challenges?” by Res.Asst.Aybüke Durmuş from the Department of Educational Sciences, has been accepted for presentation at the ATEE 2025 Annual Conference, which will be held from 26 to 29 August 2025 at the Marino Institute of Education in Dublin, Ireland.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ufuk Balaman's article titled “A Longitudinal Case Study of L2 Interactional Competence Development in the ELT Classroom: Teachability and Learnability of L2 Interactional Practices” has been published in the journal International Journal of Applied Linguistics, which is indexed in the SSCI-Q1 category.
