Res. Asist. Gizem Güzeller visited the University of Malta!

Research Assistant Gizem Güzeller visited the University of Malta as part of Erasmus + Staff Mobility. Within the scope of mobility, the presentation of our faculty was carried out to the faculty members of the Mathematics and Science Department of the University of Malta. Güzeller made observations at the faculty of education at the University of Malta and a public school. She received information about the Maltese education system from mathematics teachers and faculty members and examined the lesson plans and student activity areas.He had the opportunity shadowing a public school.

Öğrencilerimiz TED Ankara Koleji'nde...

In ECE 482: Student Teaching-II course offered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağla Öneren Şendil, teacher candidates are carrying their student teaching practices at TED Ankara College Kindergarten. Prospective teachers are implementing daily activity plans, evaluate their teaching with their classroom teachers as well as with their instructor and contribute to their professional development at TED Ankara College Kindergarten.  

Assoc. Prof. Adile Gülşah Saranlı was a guest at Hacettepe University Faculty of Education

 

As part of the Community Service activities, our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Adile Gülşah Saranlı, invited by the Hacettepe University Faculty of Education "Thursday Talks". Dr. Saranlı shared his knowledge and experiences with the participants about “Discovery of Talents in the Early Childhood and Education of Gifted Children”.

 

Our Visit to Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel Anatolian High School!

 

Dr. Pelin Irgin visited Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel Anatolian High School and shared her experiences on “Listening Strategies Instruction” with the high school students and English teachers. The students will visit TED University and English Language Teachin Teaching Program to have more insight about the education at TEDU.

Dr. Melike Ünal Gezer's Paper Presentation

 

TED University’s Faculty of Education faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ünal Gezer attended LIF- Language in Focus- 2019 Conference held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on May 2-4 2019 and presented a paper entitled “Turkey’s EFL Curriculum and Textbooks: A Look into Early Written Literacy Tasks in Primary Level”.

TED University Faculty of Education faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ünal Gezer met with in-service English language teachers working at pre-school and primary education at TED Antalya College and offered an in-service professional development seminar on “Sound Sense: Phonics and Phonological Awareness”.

We Hosted School Counselors in Ankara!

We hosted more than 400 school counselors working in Ankara's different districts in our faculty, on April 26 between 10:00-13:00. Firstly, Prof. Dr. Nilüfer H. Voltan Acar presented "VAM Model in GPC" and then Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müge Çelik Örücü shared her presentation named "School Climate & School Attachment" with our guests. 

Call for Proposals Undergraduate Research Fund 2018-2019/2

TEDU-URF is one of the research endorsements provided by TEDU for Undergraduate Students. By making an application to TEDU-URF, students and Project Advisor (Project Team) pledge that no double-funding[1] exists for the budget items proposed in the application.

The objectives of TEDU-URF are;

Undergraduate Students were Accepted by Early Childhood Student Congress!

In TEDU Faculty of Education, we care to raise our undergraduate students as scientists who will write the future and we encourage them to participate in refereed scientific academic congresses. In this context, a total of 3 congress papers and 1 poster presentation of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th class undergraduate Early Childhood Education Program students who applied to the 14th Preschool Education Student Congress hosted by İstanbul Maltepe University are being accepted.
