Res. Asst. Mehmet Sak’s single-authored article entitled “Dynamicity of language teacher motivation in online EFL classes” has been published in an international peer-reviewed journal “SYSTEM” (SSCI; Q1). While the article is the first to focus on how and why teacher motivation changes in short time intervals in online language lessons, it also provides new suggestions for increasing teachers' online teaching skills. Besides, the article is included within the scope of TÜBİTAK International Scientific Publications Incentive (UBYT) award and TEDU publication award.
On November 01, 2022, we organized a meeting to our new coming first-year students. The students had the chance meet the academic staff who will be offering lecturers to them and ask their questions.

Head of the English Language Teaching Department of our faculty, Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas gave a presentation titled "The Best Gift You Can Give Yourself: Emotional Agility" at the 9th Change in Education Conference hosted by ABC Schools in Ankara on October 22, 2022, and the presentation attracted great interest.
On October 14, 2022, from Roof Coliving social enterprise, Izel Büyükgöze, Emre Güzel, and Zeynep Aybüke Mutlu were guests of our GENC 202 / EDU 401 Community Service course. After our conversation on community service and volunteering, our guests shared the establishment story of the initiative, it’s values , and it’s works. For our students, who will develop and implement community service projects during the term, these sharings supported their practices and raised awareness of volunteering.
TED University Foreign Language Education Department Head Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas and Research Assistant Mehmet Sak attended the international "Language Teacher Psychology" congress held at Mersin Çağ University on 6-7 October 2022 with their oral presentations. Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas attended the congress with her paper titled “The best gift you can give to yourself: Emotional agility”, while Res. Asst. Mehmet Sak presented his paper titled “Exploring fluctuations of language teacher motivation in online EFL classes”.

Prof. Dr. Nurdan Özbek Gürbüz’s co-authored article entitled “Unpacking the negative side-effects of directed motivational currents in L2: An interpretative phenomenological analysis” has been published in an international peer-reviewed journal “Language Teaching Research” (SSCI; Q1). Besides, the article is included within the scope of TÜBİTAK International Scientific Publications Incentive (UBYT) award and TEDÜ publication award.
"Being a Public Teacher: Rights, Responsibilities and Duties" held on Friday, May 13, 2022, via Zoom, was carried out by Özgür Bozdoğan, an English Language Teacher at Ankara Atatürk High School.
A new book "Counseling Children and Adolescents" was both edited and contributed by the chapters "Bibliotherapy and Narrative Therapy" by our faculty Dr. Begüm Serim Yıldız and Dr. S. Burcu Özgülük Üçok was published by Nobel Publishing in 13.02.2022. The book was also contributed by the chapter "Ethical and Legal Issues in Counseling Children and Adolescents" written by R.A. Bünyamin Atay.
The new article of Assoc. Dr. Sühendan Er, Res. Assist. Tuba Özgül from TEDU Early Childhood Education and Res. Assist. Nergis Hazal Yılmaztürk from Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling "Parents' shares on Instagram in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic" have been published in the Turkish Journal of Education (ESCI).
