TEDU Primary Education Graduates & Teacher Candidates Meeting!

Dear Primary Teacher Candidates,

As part of WanTED Career Fair, Educational Scientist Dr. Ozgur Bolat visited TEDU Faculty of Education before his career class.  With the participation of our faculty members and some of our students, very nice conversation, including some of the topics such as his books, Teacher Leadership Project, took place.

In 2019 three of our faculty's undergraduate programs, Early Childhood Education Department, Department of Elementary Education and Guidance and Psychological Counseling Programs,  were accredited by EPDAD, an accreditation institution for the faculties of education. The Department of English Language Teaching, the students of which graduated from in the 2018-2019 academic year, also applied to EPDAD for accreditation. The evaluation studies are expected to be completed in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Mathematics and Science Education Department Chair, Dr. Zerrin Toker held in panel discussion at Öğretmen Kariyer Fuarı which was conducted for the first time on 11-12 January 2020, aiming to bring respected teachers and prospective teachers together with educational institutions. The panel discussion that Dr. Toker involved, "International Baccalaureate Program: How One School; What Kind of Teacher?

Culturally Sensitive Counseling and Ethical and Legal Issues in Counseling Poster Presentations

Posters designed in Dr. Onur Özmen's "GPC421 Culturally Sensitive Counseling" Class and Dr. Begüm Serim-,Yıldız's "GPC411 Ethical and Legal Issues in Counseling" class were presented on Friday, 27th of December on the first floor, exhibition area of D Hall.
